Join us for the July edition of our monthly PRECIOUS Nights at the British Library networking event for women of colour in business. Each event features a panel of previous Precious Awards category winners sharing their insights and top-tips.
‘PRECIOUS Nights give the opportunity to hear from previous PRECIOUS Awards winners about their business journey, catch up with old connections and build your network with new contacts.
Over the years, the Awards have grown into a flagship event characterised by open and generous sharing of stories, strategies, challenges and experiences: a room full of exceptional women in business all ‘paying it forward’ and creating a unique atmosphere of collaboration and motivation. Now, we’ve decided that once a year isn’t enough and so we’re thrilled to share this series of networking events that capture the PRECIOUS Awards spirit all year round.

Nicola Dady, Founder, Don’t Forget the Kids
When Nicola was diagnosed with a rare form of kidney cancer in 2010, it didn’t slow her down, it sparked a business idea. She founded Don’t Forget the Kids, a non-profit voluntary organisation providing support for children with a parent or carer living with cancer.
Nicola won Social Enterprise of the Year at the 2016 PRECIOUS Awards.
Shalom Lloyd, Founder, Naturally Tribal Skincare Ltd
Shalom is the founder of Naturally Tribal Skincare, a chemical-free skincare brand, using only Mother Nature’s gifts to create natural skincare products for the whole family. The company imports personally selected natural ingredients from Africa for research, testing and manufacture in the UK for global distribution and export.
As well as running her business Shalom is a highly respected Global Leader in the Pharmaceutical Industry. She won the PRECIOUS Outstanding Woman in STEM Award 2017
Pilar Nalwimba
Pilar is a Freelance Social Media Creative and Content Manager working with leading Advertising Agencies, Broadcasters and Record Companies.
Most recently she launched an online and in-person learning and career platform called Millennial Mentors that aims to equip millennials with creative, digital and tech skills.
Pilar won Best New Business at The PRECIOUS Awards 2013.
