Digital Content Assistant

JOB SUMMARY
We’re looking for a reliable and creative Digital Content Assistant to help support and develop our digital communications.

The role involves:

Producing and publishing original content for PRECIOUS websites and social media channels.
Monitoring social media posts and responding to messages and queries received over social media.
Helping to identify opportunities on social media platforms for PRECIOUS to participate in international trends/initiatives online.
Ensuring all social media campaigns are fully integrated with PRECIOUS website and meet brand and style guidelines.
Helping to maintain a content calendar for web and social media channels.
Help to administrate PRECIOUS events.
Other admin duties related to the role.

This is an opportunity for the assistant to develop and strengthen their social media /content writing/marketing skills.

This is an 80% homeworking position for 25 hours per week

SKILLS NEEDED
Good writing skills
Working knowledge of video editing software (or desire to learn)
A creative thinker and communicator
The ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Working knowledge of web publishing and the use of content management systems (CMS) or desire to learn

WORKING HOURS
Monday to Friday 10am – 4pm including an hour for lunch

Content Marketing and Events Assistant

Overview
We are looking for a confident, ambitious, organised individual with some practical experience of writing, events and marketing, to join our team and help us with writing articles for our website, managing our events and some general marketing.

The role is 5 days per week, the majority of the time will be home-based with some occasional face to face meetings 3 to 4 days per month.

Key responsibilities include:
The role will include writing regular newsletters.
Creating promotional material.
Customer service.
Managing event bookings and tickets in the run up to and at events.
Creating monthly articles for our website.
Create, send and manage newsletters.
Marketing of events.
Content marketing.
General diary support for founder 5% of role.

SKILLS NEEDED
Knowledge and or experience of at least one of the following is essential:
Mailchimp, Canva, Word, Excel, Zoom Webinars and LinkedIn.
We will train and set you up on the apps you do not know, if you have worked on similar platforms please include any relevant information.
Must be confident and at ease talking to a wide range of people, on telephone, virtually and face to face.

WORKING HOURS
10:30am to 4:30pm including 1 hour lunch.

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
Employability support for both roles will be provided by DiVA. You will attend seven workshops over the course of your placement. They will take place on the last Wednesday of the month and held virtually.

How to build and Network effectively
Money Management: how to establish a side hustle and work as a freelancer

Workshops last three hours and contain a mix of taught sessions and masterclasses with industry guests.
